FALC Shows and Exhibitions

This page is devoted to those FALC shows and exhibitions which are generally judged or juried, often offer awards and exhibit the accepted artworks for 30 to 45 days.

There are also opportunities for FALC artists to show their work on a more continuous basis. See the Showing Your Art page for participating venues and show details.

Annual Juried Art Exhibition

MEMBERS SHOW HIGHLIGHTS

Senior Show
Mobirise

Each summer FALC sponsors this show for local senior artists. The show is displayed at The Town of Cary's Senior Center. Call the Center 919-469-4081 after August 1st for a show Prospectus. 

Art55 Show
Mobirise

Unfortunately this show has been cancelled for 2019 due to construction at the Cary Senior Center. Sponsored by the Friends of the Cary Senior Center for local artists over age 55. Two-dimensional art only.  

Annual Fabulous Fakes Exhibition

Early each fall FALC sponsors this exhibition where members enter a painting giving their impression of a work by one of masters. The 2019 show is Sept. 25 to Oct. 20 at Cary Arts Center. Show Prospectus. See the Calendar for dates & more information. Judy Brubach is the exhibition coordinator.

Annual Teen Show
Mobirise

Each spring FALC and Meredith College sponsor a spring show for teen artists attending Wake County schools. The school art teachers select work for entry in the show, and the entries are judged to select the award winners. See the Calendar for full information. Brenda Brokke is the show coordinator.
